Welcome to Sonus: Blueprint. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Sonus: Blueprint, including the Clinic Edition, Student Edition, associated software files, updates, and related services (collectively, the “Software”), provided by Sonus Blueprint (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing, installing, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Use of the Software is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
1. Professional Use Only
Sonus: Blueprint is intended solely for use by licensed chiropractic professionals and supervised trainees acting
within the scope of their professional licensure.
The Software is not intended for consumer use and may not be used by unlicensed individuals.
By using the Software, you represent and warrant that you are a licensed healthcare professional or are
operating under appropriate professional supervision.
2. Intended Purpose of the Software
Sonus: Blueprint is designed to display calculations derived from clinician-entered measurements using
established EPIC and Advanced Orthogonal technique protocols.
The Software:
- Accepts manual measurement inputs provided by the clinician
- Applies structured protocol logic based on established technique methodology
- Displays calculation steps and suggested positional parameters for clinician review
The Software does not:
- Acquire, analyze, or interpret medical images
- Diagnose disease or medical conditions
- Determine or prescribe treatment
- Replace independent clinical judgment
The Software is a calculation and workflow support tool for trained professionals. It is not a substitute for
professional education, training, licensure, or independent clinical reasoning.
Users must exercise independent professional judgment at all times.
All clinical decisions remain solely the responsibility of the licensed practitioner.
3. Clinical Responsibility
The licensed practitioner remains solely and fully responsible for:
- Accuracy of all entered measurement data
- Independent verification of displayed calculations
- Interpretation of all results
- Determination of final corrective setup
- Patient positioning and adjustment procedures
- All patient care decisions and outcomes
Users acknowledge and agree that:
- They are licensed healthcare professionals (or supervised students, where applicable)
- They are solely responsible for patient care decisions
- They are responsible for verifying all measurements and calculations
- They must exercise independent clinical judgment at all times
Use of the Software does not create a provider–patient relationship between the Company and any patient.
The Company does not practice medicine or chiropractic and does not provide medical advice.
4. Student Edition
Sonus: Blueprint – Student Edition is intended solely for educational use within supervised training environments.
The Student Edition:
- Is not a substitute for professional licensure.
- May not be used for independent clinical practice without appropriate licensure.
- Does not create any professional credential or certification.
5. Data Storage and Privacy Responsibility
Sonus: Blueprint operates as a locally stored application.
Patient data entered into the Software remains on the clinician’s own systems unless voluntarily shared in compliance with applicable privacy laws.
The Company:
- Does not automatically collect, access, transmit, or store patient data on company servers
- Does not maintain centralized clinical databases
- Does not remotely monitor clinical files
Users are solely responsible for:
- Ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other applicable privacy laws
- Securing patient data stored on their systems
- Avoiding storage of protected health information (PHI) on unsecured platforms
6. Research Participation
From time to time, voluntary research initiatives may be offered.
Participation requires proper de-identification of patient information in compliance with applicable laws.
Participation in research is voluntary and not required for use of the Software.
7. Subscription and Billing
Access to Sonus: Blueprint – Clinic Edition is provided on a subscription basis.
By purchasing a subscription, you authorize recurring billing through our third-party payment processor.
Recurring billing:
- Continues automatically according to the selected billing cycle.
- May be canceled at any time prior to the next billing cycle.
- Does not entitle the user to partial refunds unless required by law.
Payment processing is handled securely by our third-party provider. We do not store or have access to full payment card information.
We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with reasonable notice.
8. Modifications to the Software or Terms
The Company reserves the right to modify or update the Software and these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Software following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
9. Intellectual Property
The Software, including all formulas, structure, logic, documentation, and related materials, is the intellectual property of Sonus Blueprint.
Users may not:
- Reverse engineer the Software
- Copy, distribute, or modify proprietary components
- Share activation codes or licensed files outside authorized users
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Software is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
The Company disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy or reliability of outputs
- Uninterrupted availability
- Freedom from errors
The Company does not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from defects.
Users assume full responsibility for use of the Software.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sonus Blueprint shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of data
- Business interruption
The Company shall not be responsible for:
- Clinical decisions made by users
- Patient treatment outcomes
- Measurement inaccuracies
- Misinterpretation of results
- Improper application of technique protocols
- Errors in data entry
Total liability under these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the Software in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sonus Blueprint, its officers, directors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:
- Clinical decisions made by the user
- Improper use of the Software
- Violation of applicable laws, regulations, or professional standards
- Any injury, loss, or damages resulting from patient treatment
- Breach of these Terms
You, the user, acknowledge that all patient care decisions remain your sole responsibility.
13. Regulatory Position
Sonus: Blueprint is intended to function as a professional clinical decision support tool that applies established
technique protocols to clinician-entered data.
It is not intended to function as an autonomous medical device or to replace professional judgment.
Users are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
14. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Software for violation of these Terms.
Users may discontinue use at any time.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah,
without regard to conflict of law principles.
